Vinny and Teo are well trained, well socialized, versatile dogs. I doubt there is a job too big for them. They have guarded horses, donkeys, cows, and sheep; they have had some exposure to chickens and goats.

Vinny is gregarious and very friendly - he loves everyone! He is a character and always seems to be smiling. He's beautiful, and his coat is super easy to manage which is a plus.

Teo is a serious, dedicated worker. He is a friendly fellow but will often defer to Vinny in social situations as the two dogs approach people.

This is Cindy, with Vinny on the left and Teo on the right.

Both these dogs are very environmentally bold. They are best suited to a life with challenges and stimulus. They would do well with a variety of different types of livestock. Changing fields is not a problem for them. Being around a variety of people, including strangers properly introduced, is lots of fun for them. Right now, they are guarding cattle on about four acres. That isn't a large area but the predator pressure at the back of this field is high, which they enjoy.

Vinny and Teo are dream dogs, ready to move in and go to work!

I am looking for a dynamic, and somewhat social, living situation for them because they will enjoy that. They would be great family dogs. I am looking for an owner with a sense of humor, and a sense of fun, because that is the kind of person who will appreciate Vinny's grinning presence. As with all our dogs, completion of the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Foundations course is a requirement for ownership. (insert link please, to the training manual page) The pair can be boarded with me until their prospective owner completes the course. This pair of dogs has extensive clicker training background. They love it and deserve an owner who understands the language of positive reinforcement training.
